Pre-Termination Counseling

| Before the actual termination, we provide guidance and assistance in the termination planning process, including notice periods, severance, the logistics of the termination meeting, and counseling for the individual affected on the day of departure, all at no additional cost. |

| CatalystCareers Directionsâ„¢ is a unique proprietary assessment program developed over several years and continually enhanced by our career counselors. CatalystCareers Directionsâ„¢ is a proven program that provides a concise framework for professionals to reevaluate their career path, identify areas of strength and weakness, understand their personal finances, explore new or existing opportunities, and establish a new direction for their careers that is in direct harmony with their overall life goals. Other assessment tools used include Myers-Briggs® Type Indicator, Career Anchors™, True Colors™, Strong Interest Inventory™, and others as dictated by individual needs. |

| We teach the essentials of Resume writing for the real world, including definition of overall career objectives, conveying accomplishments in the most influential manner, and differentiating distinctive skills and abilities in order to position our candidates competitively in their chosen specialization. Interview Coaching and Salary Negotiation

At most professional levels, the importance of the development and application of effective employment interview strategies incorporates several additional dimensions. Our professional Career Consultants, trained in the latest interviewing techniques, deconstruct the interview process and define simple but effective tactics that our candidates can use to outshine the competition and receive higher salaries. Non-traditional and unique interview situations, including networking and informational interviews, "hotel", and "meal" interview locations are also covered. Videotaping is also a standard component of our program if desired.
For many people, job offer deliberations are one of the most difficult and feared aspects of the job search, and salary negotiation is therefore given special emphasis in the Catalyst Transitions™ program. Components include compensation package research and "win-win" negotiating techniques. |
Job Search Coaching

| The job search itself can be a daunting journey - we assist with regular strategy and coaching sessions to determine progress, constantly evaluating, and adjusting tactics if necessary. Regular ongoing and focused guidance to our candidates helps them maintain their motivation and achieve their stated career transition objectives in a more timely manner. Issues relating to Time and Stress Management are also monitored and reviewed. |
